NOTES:  Albert his two brothers and three sisters went to the Sylvan school

on 1 September1892. Albert who preferred to be called Ross worked at a

grocery store in Bollinger until he got a job with railroad as an inspector.

That job would eventually lead him to working as a switchman at the Illinois

Terminal Railroad and moving to the metro east area in Illinois next to St.

Louis.

NOTES:  Lived across the road at what is now FF and State 51 near Dry Creek.

The MAY Farm was directly across from the CLARKS.  It is most likely that

the MAY and CLARK children grew up playing together. After marrying Ross and

moving to the St. Louis Area, she and her children would often travel back

to the old farm for visits.

NOTES: Her father Ross and husband Earl had worked together in the grocery

store in Bollinger. In her later years she would move to Tennessee with her

daughter. Her husband Earl was attached to the 442nd , ‘Go For Broke, the

Japanese Brigade’ in Italy during WWII.

NOTES:  Married late in life and had one son.  He worked along side his

father at the Illinois Terminal Railroad and later as a farmer in Montgomery

Co. MO.  Died of a heart condition.
