• On this page you will find a listing of Resources that may be valuable to you in your research of your ancestors in Bollinger Co., Missouri. You will also find a listing of volunteers and the resources they are willing to check for you. Because of our desire to comply with the USGenWeb Policy concerning look ups, we ask that you follow the following simple rules when asking for help.

• There are many resources available for the serious researcher. This is not offered as a complete listing of all that may be available, but as a place to start. The items you need may be available in your local library or through them by inter-library loan. Some items are available through your local Family History Center and are marked with "FHC" for your information.

CENSUS The federal census for Bollinger County was first taken in 1860 and exsists for each enumeration through 1920, with the exception of the 1890 population schedule which was lost. The 1890 census of Union Soldiers and Widows does exist. The census is one of the most readily available resource for the genealogist and one of the most valuable. Some census exist in book form but all of it exists on microfilm. Your local library or Family History Center should be able to help you obtain the particular roll of film for your desired year and county enumeration district.

COURT RECORDS
Bollinger County Courthouse P.O.Box 46 Missouri 65340	The Bollinger County Courthouse is located in Marble Hill. The courthouse burned in 1866 and 1884. Copies of Birth and Death certificates are $1.00 each. All other copies such as deeds are $9.00. There is a $2.00 additional charge for certified copies.
Many Records are available on microfilm through The Missouri State Archives. You will find information on what is available and how to access it through this link.
