BCHS/GSCM Civil War Project


As part of a Civil War memorial project, the Civil War Taskforce for a memorial for Boone County soldiers who died serving in the War, local genealogists from the Genealogical Society of Central Missouri and historians from the Boone County Historical Society are looking for the descendants of Boone County residents that fought and died in the U.S. Civil War.

All veterans are being researched, no matter on which side of the battle they fought. Our list is currently 115 members long. We will be providing the list of veterans shortly.
