Located north of Fisk, this cemetery is no longer
used, but there is evidence that is was a fair sized cemetery. Ken Risinger,
whose family is buried there, wrote the following to Betty Hanks in 1986: "...
According to Dan Erickson, the forest ranger who lives [near] the cemetery,
there are about 50 gravesites there.
Most of them, or at least quite a few, are from the CHILDRESS family,
which was my mother's maiden name. When
I first saw this cemetery back in 1935... I could read only four names chiseled
on the headstones of native rock. Mary
Ann, my grandmother; Alva, her son, about age 6; James, my grandfather; and
Sarah, a daughter, about 20....
