DERRINGTON CEMETERY (#85)

T24N R7E SEC 6

Map #8u

Located off of Hwy 60 East on private property, there is no longer visible evidence of this old cemetery. Said to be the Green DERRINGTON family cemetery. Mrs. Herman Grobe, who has lived in this area since 1915 told us about the cemetery. Mr. Luther Burgin, also a long time resident of the area, recalled seeing headstones there years ago. The tradition is that this was the homeplace of a german family who buried their family members here.
