******** the following are in one lot ********
PRICE [WOODS?], Sara Rose [ROSE?]
[her surname is given as PRICE in one transcription, WOODS in one, and
ROSE in another. In 1995 an effort
was made to try to determine who she is. Apparently buried in a lot with
the WOODS family, she may be a sister to Fannie (ROSE) WOODS..Both
transcriptions place her immediately next to
WOODS ,
ROSE
[WOODS?] , James Franklin
Son
of A. T. & Fannie Rose]
ROSE
[WOODS?] , Mary Evelyn
Daughter
of A. T. & Fannie Rose
[NOTE: the above three children
were given as ROSE in at least one transcription. Another lists them as WOODS.
Looking at it more carefully in 1995 this determination was made: It
appears the family surname was
WOODS, and that the mother, Fannie, was surnamed ROSE. Some transcriptions took
the name ‘Rose’ to be Fannie’s middle
name. The names will be indexed under
both names here to allow the researcher to draw
their own conclusion.]

HESSELRODE Alice
HESSELRODE, John
HESSELRODE, Goldie Gene
Baby Daughter of John &
Alice [stone has small photo of a baby]
MORSE?, Gene
[it
is not clear from the old transcription which family Gene belongs to. His
stone, set
between the two infant daughters of John
& Alice HESSELRODE, has a photo of a baby, just
like the ones on the stones of Goldie and
Lillian. The name ‘Gene’ appears below the photo.
The top of the stone reads ‘Eugene
Mora___’? - it is very weathered and difficult to decipher.
Apparently no legible dates appear on the
stone - none were found in 1995, and earlier
transcriptions list no dates for this child.
In this book, Gene will be indexed both
as a
HESSELRODE and a MORSE.]
