SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. RICHARD CAPPS AND INFANT SON

Funeral services for Mr, Richard Capps and son Michael victims of an
automobile accident early last Saturday morning, will be conducted at
2:30 p.m. afternoon at the Frank - Cotrell chapel. The Rev. Chester B.
Pillow will officiate and burial will the Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Capps and her 15 month old son met death about 2 . Saturday when a
car driven by Johnny Capps, brother of her husband went out of control
and hit a tree on Highway 51. Richard Capps, her husband, lost his left
arm in the accident, and is presently recovering at the Doctors
Hospital. His condition was said to he improved this morning.


Mother, Child Wreck Victims Placed at Rest
Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy June Capps and her small son, Richard
Michael Capps, who were killed in an automobile accident near Broseley,
early Saturday, wen held yesterday afternoon at 2:30, the Rev. Chester
B. Pillow in charge.
The mother and her child were buried in the same casket. Burial was in
Memorial Gardens, Frank Cotrell service.
Pall bearers were Alva Hays, Glen McNeely, Harold Hampton, Johnnie
Helsel, Alvin McDowell and William Stidham.

Though these two articles have no
dates, one does mention (on the back of the article) President
Eisenhowers discussion with Zhukov. Ike was President
1952-1960 so it was in that time period.
