Contributed by: Rene' DH Bartolome From Grandmothers clippings Subject: Danny Snodgrass obit Danny Snodgrass, Retired Ginner, Died Here Today Danny Snodgrass, 827 Kendall Drive, a retired cotton ginner, died at the Lucy Lee Hospital 10:30 this morning following a lengthy illness. He was 62. He was taken to the Hospital last Saturday and had been in ill health for the past several years. Mr. Snodgrass was born October 26, 1908 at Corning where he attended school. He later graduated from college at Jonesboro. For a number of years he operated cotton gins at Qulin and Broseley. On July 8. 1938, he was married to Miss Hazel Jones at Hoxie. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Snodgrass: his mother, Mrs. A. H. Snodgrass: a sister, Mrs. Mack Whiteley. and a brother. A. H. Snodgrass, Jr., all of Poplar Bluff. The body was taken to the Bruce-Fitch Funeral Home and funeral plans will be announced tomorrow. 1970's time frame .
