Francis was a resident of Butler Co., MO.  He was father of: John Phillip Kearbey Sr..
who was Butler Co. sheriff from 1912-1915 when he was shot and killed in the line of duty.  

Francis lived out his last few years in the Old Soldiers Home and is buried in the,
Civil War Natl. Cemetary in Higginsville, MO.  

Francis was born 7 Jan 1839 in Grandin, MO ( Wayne Co. at that time) and died
10 Mar 1929.(Higginsville, MO)   He raised his family in Butler Co. He was son of
Thomas Lee Kearbey and Nancy Jane (Scott) Keaarbey
