Seeking records of a CW Neff or Cyrus Worth Neff who may have been a policeman in the Butler Co. area in 1889. This information is based on a newspaper clipping of my g-g-grandfather's birth announcement in February , 1889. I've always been told he (Cyrus Frank Neff) was born in Poplar Bluff, 2-14-1889,though I have no solid documentation yet, despite years of searching. Can anyone help me out?
