  • John Frederick's Declaration of Intention
    Please note on this Declaration it is stated that John (Johann) left Bremen on 1st May 1848 and arrived at New York on 10 June 1849. This date of 1849 is an error as it didn't take his ship 1 year and 41 days but only 41 days to cross the Atlantic. Also, he couldn't have travelled from New York to Cincinnati in just two days in 1849 where this declaration was signed by the clerk on 12 June 1849
