CARTER COUNTY QUERIES FOR JAN. 1999 THROUGH MARCH 1999
DATE: Sat. 23 JAN. 1999
NAME: Michel Laflandre
SURNAMES:SUTTON
George William Sutton Jr and Ione Ulrich Sutton ...
I would like to come in contact with the descendants or the heirs of this
couple (pair).
George W. Sutton Jr died in 1958, perhaps in New Rochelle (near New York
city).
His wife, Ione Ulrich Sutton, was still alive in 1966.
The father of George was Captain George W. Sutton Sr. In the first years of
this century, he was Commodore of the New Rochelle Yatch Club. He was also
Chairman of the Board of the Sewer Commissioners.
Sutton father and son, were also founding charter members of the
Adventurers Club of New York.
The least information about the descent of that family would be very
invaluable for me.
If you cannot help me yourself, do you know references of an
institute, university, or of an independent searcher (specialist, author of
book, ...) who could help me to find all this informations ?
I am a French researcher and I work in Paris (France).

NAME: Ginni Kamph
SURNAMES:SHOTWELL?
Could you look in your records for the name Shotwell? I am looking for
where Nathan T. Shotwell is buried. He resided in West Plains around
1895. I have checked the on-line in Howell, but alas no luck. Thought
that maybe he would have found something he liked in your county.
Thanks,
Ginni Kamph
