Douglas Glenn Weeke passed away in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, Calif., on Tuesday June 27, 2006, as the result of a tragic accident. He was 37 years. old.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Sharon Weeke of Lake Ozark, Mo.; his sisters, Alyson Bradfield and husband, Dr. John Bradfield, of Chapel Hill, N.C., Elizabeth Nosic and husband, Ralf Nosic, of Columbia, Mo.; his brother, Scott Weeke and wife, Sherri, of Belleville, Ill.; nieces, Natasha Nosic, Nicolette Weeke, Alex Weeke; nephews, Stefan Nosic, Connor Bradfield and Justin Bradfield; grandmother, Vera Gladson of Osage Beach, Mo; and dear friend, Lika Moore of Los Angeles, Calif.

Doug was born in Belleville, Ill. on February 20, 1969. He graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and the Music Institute in Hollywood, Calif. He studied art in Venice and Rome, Italy. He was in the music recording business, and a well-known metal artisan in the Silver Lake area for the past 14 years. He was employed by Creative Environments of Hollywood, Calif. He was much loved by family, friends, business associates, and will be missed by all. There has been a celebration of Doug’s life in Los Angeles, Calif. There will be a visitation from 2-3 p.m., Saturday, July 8, with services following at 3 p.m. at the Hedges Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Mo.
