Cedar County Historical Society

    The Cedar County Historical Society was organized in 1970 as a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting
      interest in, and preserving the history and genealogy of Cedar County, Missouri and its people.

   Meetings are held the third Saturday of each month (except December) at 10:00 am at 106 Davis St., Stockton, MO.
   Everyone is invited to attend.

    The CCHS Newsletter is published quarterly. Member queries are encouraged and needed.

   Send your query or queries with your membership dues, let everyone know who you are looking for. Dues are $10.00 and
       are payable in July.

CCHS OPENS

Beginning November 7, the Cedar County Historical Society’s museum and research center at 106 West Davis
in Stockton will be open to the public on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and by special
appointment at other times. Volunteers will be on hand to assist those wishing to tour the exhibits or perform
genealogical and historical research in the extensive collection of materials on Cedar County as well as surrounding
counties in southwest Missouri.

The CCHS will also have an open house on Saturday, December 5. Hours and other details will be announced later.
