| Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery or Apostolic Cemetery is reached by traveling 5 1/2 miles west of the intersection of Highway 160 and Highway 71 on the west side of Lamar, Mo. and then going south on Highway "O" for 4 1/2 miles. The cemetery is east of the Apostolic Christian Church at that intersection. This small cemetery is far out in the country and is a burial ground for church members. The cemetery is extremely well kept and all old worn tombstones have been replaced with new stones and there are no damaged or overturned stones such as are found in other cemeteries. The cemetery is surrounded by hay and wheat fields. There is no sign on the cemetery entrance. |
