Billy Bird Wooldridge, son of E. P. and Elizabeth Highfield Wooldridge was born April 12, 1874 in Randolph county, Ark., near Warm Springs. He was married to Lillian Dale Jones April 12, 1894 in Oregon County, Mo.
To this union eleven children were born, two died in infancy. Surviving are six sons and two daughters, Leslie of Thayer; Alva of Mammoth Spring [Ark.]; Hasten of Tulsa, Okla.; Bill of Norfork, Va.; Darrell, serving in the U.S. Navy; Morris of Bremerton, Wash.; Peggy Brandenberg, of San Antonio, Texas and Verna Lively, of New Mexico; 17 grand children and one great grand-child. Also surviving, three sisters, Mrs. Lena Morris, Mammoth Spring [Ark.]; Mrs. Jim Davis, Thayer; Mrs. John Rowden, Salpula, Okla., one brother, Cicero Wooldridge, Covington, Okla. He will be missed by many life long friends.
He was saved and baptised in the Assembly of God church, in which faith he lived all his life.
He will be missed by many friends and the school children whom he served as janitor for seventeen years.

Although the obit doesn't state his burial place, he is buried in Thayer Cemetery. He was my mother's uncle.
