| Carl Junction Cemetery is a large cemetery and is the main burial grounds for Carl Junction, Mo. and surrounding area. This cemetery is located on the north side of the city near the railroad tracks. This cemetery was in the direct path of the May 5, 2003 tornado which devastated the town and surrounding area and caused damage to trees and grave markers. The original sign was destroyed and large tombstones were toppled by the storm. The only sign remaining was a small brass plaque at the entrance to the new addition to the cemetery. |
