Roseborough Cemetery in Newton County, Granby, Missouri. Sec. 25, Twp. 26, and Rge. 31

Directions: On Business 60 in Newton County, Granby, Mo. turn N. on N. Main St. Go about 1 mile and turn W. on Old Hwy E. follow that and go over a rail road crossing then over Wagon Wheel Bridge, after you cross the bridge, the cemetery is on the W. side of the road. It's very easy to miss because it's tucked away on the side of a hill under lots of underbrush and trees.

This cemetery has been called Posey Cem., Roseborough Cem., and the Beaver Cem. because after it was closed it was on the old Bud Beaver place. I would be more likely to call it Roseborough Cem. because the Roseborough's seem to be the oldest graves. It is about 300 by 100 feet in size. As my wife Verla and I walked this cemetery taking data, there was such a sadness in our hearts over the damage that had been done, so much information gone forever.
