The Society is gearing up to assist the City of Jackson with a comprehensive inventory of Russell Heights and Jackson City Cemeteries. The memorial stone for the Ware Cemetery is up! Contributions to defray the cost of this memorial are still welcomed, since the Society contributed most of the costs. Any of you who would like to contribute can send contributions to: Cape Girardeau Co. Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 571, Jackson, MO 63755. Label the check "Ware Cemetery".
