Funeral services for George W. Yocum, 78,
who died at his farm home near Battlefield at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon
will be at 2 o’clock this afternoon in the home, with burial to be in the family
cemetery under direction of Wilburn Maples of Clever. Survivors are a son, James B. Yocum, Brookline; two brothers,
James and Charles, Seneca, and a sister, Miss Margaret Yocum, Brookline.

Mrs.
Kate Young, 71, of Nixa died at 3 a.m. Sunday in St. John’s Hospital,
Springfield after a short illness. Mrs. Young was a member of Clever Christian
Church. Survivors include her husband, Ed; one son, Milton, Columbus, Ga,.; one
daughter, Mrs. Marcella Lawrence, Santa Anna, Calif.; one brother, Charley
Arndt, Kansas City, Kan,; one sister, Mrs. Alvina Conn, Aurora; and four
grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Roscoe
Harding officiating. Burial will be in Delaware Cemetery under direction of
Harris of Nixa.
The Rev. James Clabe Young, 76, retired
farmer and Methodist minister, died at his home in Nixa at 1 p.m. yesterday
after suffering a heart attack while eating dinner. He preached in Stone and Christian Counties for 30 years before
retiring about two years ago. Rev.
Young was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. His wife died in 1951.
Survivors include a son, Owen of LaPorte, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Loyal
Young of Nixa; two brothers, Ed and William, both of Nixa; two sisters, Mrs.
Maggie Painter of Elsey and Mrs. Dellie Oliver of Sarcoxie; and a
granddaughter. Arrangements are under
direction of Harris of Nixa.

Frank (Tutter) Young, 77, of Clever, died
Sunday night in the Aurora Community Hospital.
Mr. Young was a native of Clever.
He is survived by his wife, Effie; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Forbis of
Clever and Mrs. Bula Hayes of Old Ocean, Tex.; and one brother, Otis of
Sapulpa, Okla. Funeral services will be
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Clever Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Smith

Frank
“Tutter” Young, 77, of Clever, died Sunday night in the Aurora Community
Hospital. Mr. Young was a native of Clever. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs.
Grace Forbis of Clever and Mrs. Bula Hayes of Old Oceans, Tex. and one brother,
Otis of Sapulpa, Okla. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Clever
Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial was in the Wade Chapel
officiating. Burial was in the Wade Chapel Cemetery at Republic under the
direction of Cantrell of Clever.
Funeral services for James Roy Young, 75,
Clever, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Clever First Baptist Church with the
Rev. Ron Zamkus officiating. Burial
will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home. Mr. Young died Sunday evening in St. John’s
Regional Health Center. He was a
lifelong resident of the Clever community and was a farmer and truck
driver. He was a member of Clever First
Baptist Church and also Teamsters Local Number 245. Surviving are his wife, Mary; a son, Jim, Clever; a daughter,
Sharon Hedgepeth, Brookline; two brothers, Junior Cecil, Seattle, Wash., and
Paul B., Pasadena, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Gold, Clever; and four
grandchildren. The family will be at
the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral services for Mary Young, 71, Clever, were held Tuesday,
at 10:30 a.m. at Clever First Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Fortner
officiating. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery under direction of Meadors of
Clever. Mrs. Young died Saturday afternoon
at Lester E. Cox Medical Center South following a long illness. She was a member of the Clever First Baptist
Church. She was a former employee of
the Clever School as a coach and had worked at the Clever Market. She was a charter member of the Clever
Senior Citizens, past president of the Clever Farm Club and a former Sunday
school teacher of the pre-school class.
Survivors include one son, Jim, Clever; one daughter, Sharon Jobe,
Rogersville; her mother, Delphia King, Clever; one brother, Bob King, Clever;
one sister, Ivon Chastain, Springfield; four grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews.

Funeral services for
Mrs. Cynthia Young, 86, of Route 12, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Mt. Sinai
Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Geers officiating. Burial will be in the Frazier Cemetery under the direction of
Harris of Nixa. Mrs. Young died at 2:50
p.m. Friday in Cox Medical Center where she had been a patient for 30
days. A former longtime Clever
resident, Mrs. Young moved to Springfield in 1951. She was a member of the Pythian Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Arbie, of Route 1,
Billings, Hurshel, of National City, Calif., Leo, of Route 1, Lockwood, Elbert,
of 3228 Blossom Drive, and J. Harold of Route 12: one brother, Lon Frazier, of
Route 1, Marionville; seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 12
great-grandchildren and 12 step- great-grandchildren.

Mary Quintilla Young, the daughter of
Captain George W. Taylor and Sarah Jane Canard Taylor, was born October 9,
1867, and departed this life January 12, 1947. Mrs. Young was born in Christian
County, near Hopedale, but moved to Ozark fifty years ago. Shortly after moving
to Ozark she was united in marriage to Dr. J. C. Young. Well-known Ozark
physician, who died in 1934. At an early age she made her profession of faith
in Christ and united with the Hopedale Baptist church. She was a member of the
Ozark Baptist church at the time of her death, and had been active until
stricken with ill health some years ago. In 1901 she became a member of the
Ozark Chapter No. 98 of the Eastern Star, in which organization she served as
Worthy Matron in 1904, 1915, 1918 and 1920. At one time she was District Deputy
Lecturer for the Chapters in the Ozark division. She was a charter member of
the Ladies Literary Club of Ozark. Mrs. Young’s only immediate survivor is a
brother, John S. Taylor of Ozark. Other survivors are the following nieces and
nephews: Mrs. Jennie Farthing, Mrs. Lula Wernet, Herbert Taylor, Wm. C. Taylor,
Lyman Kerr and Emmett Kerr, all of Ozark, and Dr. Frank Kerr of Monett. Funeral
services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Chaffin Funeral Home. Burial
was in Hazelwood cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Chaffin. Contributed

Mary Quintilla Young, the daughter
of Captain George W. Taylor and Sarah Jane Canard Taylor, was born Oct. 9,
1867, and departed this life Jan. 12, 1947. Mrs. Young was born in Christian

67, Billings, died about 1:45 p.m. Friday at Aurora Community Hospital. He was formerly of Nixa. Surviving are his wife, Eula; one son, Dale,
Clever; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Rauch, Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Reba Hale,
Billings; one sister, Lydia Herndon, Nixa; one brother, John, Nixa; 11
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Baptist Church. Survivors include his
wife, Corene; a son, Dan, Ozark; two brothers, Roy, Nixa, and Paul L., San
Antonio, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary A. (Mollie)
Young, 80, Route 1, Brookline, died at 8:35 a.m. today in the home of a
daughter, Mrs. Edward C. Sooter, 1608 Kimbrough. She had been in ill health for several years. She was a lifelong resident of Greene County
and a member of the Walnut Hill Church of Christ. Other survivors include a son, Lee, Route 1, Brookline; two
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Woodrow Wilson “Woody” Young, 87, Republic,
passed away at 4:45 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2001, in Christian Health Care, Republic.
Mr. Young, a retired cabinetmaker, was born December 2, 1913, in Christian
County, Mo., the son of Fyan Edwin and Sarah Margaret (Pratt) Young. He was
united in marriage to Gladys Myree Sissel on October 30, 1940, in Galena, Mo.
Woody was a member of Walnut Hill Church of Christ for 65 years and a 50 year
member of the Masonic Lodge #570 in Republic. He enjoyed bluegrass music,
fishing and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, three
brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two sons and
their wives, Joel and Cindy Young of Republic, and Lewis and Lynda Young of
Eureka, Mont.; three grandchildren, Stephanie Fletcher and husband Gary of
Republic, Danny Young and wife Kimberly of Springfield, and Will Young of Eureka,
Mont.; two great-grandsons, Dylan and Jacob Fletcher; two nephews, Edward Davis
of Republic and Everett Davis of Brookline Station; three brothers-in-law,
Lloyd Sissel of Nixa, Dale Sissel of Billings and Marvin Sissel of Rogersville;
and a sister-in-law, Opal Sanders of Republic. Funeral services with Masonic
rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in Ayre-Goodwin-Lee
Funeral Home at Rivermonte. Burial will follow in Manley Cemetery, Battlefield.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The family
has requested that memorial donations be made to the Manley Cemetery in care of

Mr. Young, a native of Ozark, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the Northside Nursing
Home. He was an employee of Central Motors and Central Dodge for 45 years
before his retirement in 1967. Survivors include his wife Effie K. of the home;
four sons, Don, Springfield, Fred, Augusta, Kan., Lynn, Fort Worth, Texas,
Tony, Danbury Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Madge Nelson and Mrs. Cathern Boyd,

(Hanks) Young
Corene Cora Young, age 90, of Ozark, passed away Monday, August 26, 2002 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born March 4, 1912 in Ozark, the daughter of Emery and Dovie (Woods) Hanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Young; a son, Frankie; and a sister, Trevo Handy. Mrs. Young was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Ozark. Survivors include her son, Dan Young, Ozark; two granddaughters, Stacey Goodale and husband Jeff, Springfield, and Tracey Young, Chicago, Illinois; two great-grandchildren, Alyson and Mitchell Goodale; three nephews and their wives, Ray and Carole Handy, and Jack Young, all of Ozark; and Jerry and Gale Young, Nixa; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Imogene Young, San Antonio, Texas; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Darrell Hinds officiating. Burial will follow in McCauley Cemetery, west of Ozark. Warren E.
Yeary, age 90, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2003 in Cox
South. Warren was born June 24, 1912 in Taney County near Eastview (near
present day Glade Top Trail in Mark Twain National Forest), the son of Harvey
and Cornie (Bray) Yeary. He attended rural grade schools at Eastview, Jobe high
schools at Hercules and Brown Branch. He graduated from Forsyth high school in
1931. Warren made teaching his career of 55 years (43 active, and 12 as a
substitute after retirement). His career progressed through the following
public schools in Missouri: Rural Schools, Taney County, 193236, and Ozark
County, 1937-47; Consolidated Schools, Sparta, 1948-54, Billings, 1954-56,
Sparta, 1956-58, and Springfield Public Schools, 1958 until mandatory
retirement in 1977; and substitute in Springfield Public Schools, 1977-89. He
attained his BS Degree in Education from SMS and Masters Degree in Education
from Drury College. Warren was highly respected as a teacher and a coach. He
emphasized learning academics and good character traits that would greatly
assist students throughout their life. To Warren, sports were an additional
means to academics of giving students practical experience in learning good
character traits. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, occasional
sacrifice of personal desire, playing by the rules (laws in adult life!),
consideration of others, hard work, dedication to achieve, and to show grace in
winning or losing. He thoroughly believed that a person’s consistent display of
good character would earn them more sincere respect than any job title or
wealth they may acquire. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Carnie; one
son, Warren J. Yeary and wife Mary of Belton, MO; one daughter, Katherine Sue
Swearengin and husband Jim of Sparta; four grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; three nieces; and five nephews. A
funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark,
with Reverend Eugene Roberts and Reverend Dale Gann officiating. Burial will
follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fairhaven

services for a lifelong area resident, John M. Young, have been set for 2 p.m.
Friday in the Battlefield Methodist Church. Burial will be in Manley Cemetery
near here under the direction of Cantrell of Republic. The 91-year-old retired
farmer died Wednesday night at Mercy Villa. Mr. Young is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. Aileen Eisenmayer, 1917 North Main; a granddaughter and a

Theodore Bowerman Young, 79 of Route 1, Brookline died at 12:01 a.m. today in Mercy Hospital. Mr. Young, a member of a prominent Greene County family, operated a general merchandise store at Battlefield. Survivors include his wife, Mollie, a daughter, Mrs. E. C. Sooter of 1608 Kimbrough, a son, Lee of Battlefield, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jewell Windle is in charge of funeral arrangements. Springfield Leader-Press, August 31 1956.
Jack D. Young, 67, of Nixa, died Friday May 7, 2004. A descendant of
a Nixa pioneer family, Jack was born December 3, 1936 on the farm of his
grandfather, Frank Young. His parents were Claude Young and Osha McCafferty
Young. Following the early death of his mother, his loving aunt and uncle, and
sister, Florence Young, raised Jack. Jack graduated from Nixa High School in
1954. He was a member of the Nixa Christian Church. In June, 1956 he married
Phyllis Wright. Two children were born of their union, a daughter, Pamela, and
a son, Brigg. Jack’s career revolved around his love of cattle. He was a cattle
buyer and auctioneer for more than 20 years. His career took him to several
locations throughout the Midwest and South, with many years spent in
Mississippi. He had an uncanny mathematical ability, which earned him a
reputation as an excellent buyer. As a hobby, he enjoyed writing and wrote
stories about the cattle industry. Jack experienced a serious stroke in 1978,
forcing him to retire. He returned to Missouri to be near his family. In 1988,
he moved to Century Pines Retirement Home in Ozark where he developed many
long-lasting friendships. Survivors include: His daughter and son-in-law,
Pamela and Gil Gilbert; his son and daughter-in-law, Brigg and Stephanie Young;
his grandson, Justin Young, his two step-granddaughters, Stacie Lee and
Michelle Sides; his seven step-great-grandchildren; his brother and
sister-in-law, Jerry and Gale Young; his nephew, Corbin Young; his cousin,
Danny Young; his former wife, Phyllis Rotrock and many cousins and friends. His
sweet spirit will be missed. A graveside funeral was held 1:30 p.m. Monday, May
10, in McCauley Cemetery between Ozark and Nixa, with Rev. Rod Cannedy
officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
Carwin Ray Young, known to his family and many
friends as “Lucky,” died Tuesday, August 12, 1997 in St. John’s Regional Health
Center, Springfield, after a courageous fight against lung cancer. God in His
glory is celebrating the return of one of his blessed flock after a courageous
fight against lung cancer. A kind and gentle soul, Lucky was a devoted husband
and father. To the many people fortunate enough to call him friend, he was a
constant source of happiness, who lived his life with a positive outlook and a
ready smile. Lucky was born in
Chickasha, Oklahoma on April 7, 1941, the son of Emmitt C. and Ruth I.
(Hackworth) Young. He moved to Springfield in 1969 where he opened Young’s
Distributing, a ceramic tile business. After 30 years designing and overseeing
the installation of his ceramic creations, he moved to Branson to embark on a
new venture, the family-owned Robison Printing. Lucky was an active member of
the community, giving his time and energy to numerous community services,
including Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the Gate of the Temple
Masonic Lodge No. 422 and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple where he was active in
the Director’s Staff. Additionally, he was a member of the Elks Lodge #409,
where he served as Exalted Ruler as well as a national officer. His parents and
a brother, Robert, preceded him in death. He is survived by his cherished wife,
Carrie Marie; two daughters, Lori Ann Young, Mayflower, Arkansas, Julie
Carlene Young, Denver, Colorado; and a young son, Carwin Ray Young II, of the
home. Other family members include three brothers and their wives, Nathan and
Melrose Young, Geary, Oklahoma; David and Dorothy Young, Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma; and Don Young of Crane, Mo.; his sister and her husband, Inell and
Gene Gander, Durant, Oklahoma; his parents-in-law, Reverend and Mrs. J. Monroe
Robison, Hollister, Mo. Numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and
a multitude of friends also survive him. Lucky was one of those rare people
that touched everyone with whom he came in contact.
His smile could brighten the heart, and his love was unfettered. God must have
needed him very much, but he will be deeply missed by those he left behind.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. today in Ayre-Goodwin-Lee, a Heritage
Funeral Home in Rivermonte. Masonic graveside services will follow in
Highlandville Cemetery.
Evelyn Collins Young, 81,
Ozark, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born
February 2, 1915 in Selmore and continued to live throughout her life in the
Ozark area. She was the daughter of Ross and Inez Collins. On December 13, 1934
she was united in marriage to Almon O. “Bud” Young. Mrs. Young was a member of
Selmore Christian Church. A daughter, Valerie, preceded her in death. Jean
Rathbun, and a sister, Mary Opal Hartley. Survivors included: her husband,
Almon Young; a daughter, Sue Forgey and her husband, Ray, Ozark; a son, Bud R.
Young and his wife, Marilyn, Ottawa, Illinois; a son-in-law, L.R. Rathbun,
Rogersville; eleven grandchildren, Joni and Tom Chudomelka, Ozark, Chuck and
Tricia Burkholder, Valencia, California, Jenni and Doug Southard, Ozark, Art
and Tammy Forgey, Nixa, Kenny Forgey and Cara Forgey, both of Ozark, Larry R.
and Rochelle Rathbun, Longview, Texas, Bruce and Leslie Rathbun, Springfield,
Jodi Ayash, Atlanta, Georgia; Alisa and Kyle Blumhorst, Springfield, Illinois,
and Heather Young, Paducah, Kentucky; two step-grandchildren, Mike Jones,
Ottawa, Illinois, and Christine and David Minor, Ft. Worth, Texas; fifteen
great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one foster great-grandchild;
two brothers, J. Arthur Collins, Ozark, and Stanley Collins and his wife,
Mildred, Upland, California; and three sisters and their husbands, Isabelle and
W.C. Skaggs, Ozark, Geneva and Cletus Faught, Nixa, and Elizabeth Collins,
Bowie, Texas.
No services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral

A prayer service for Lee M. Youngman, 85, who
died June 23 was held in the Chaffin Funeral Home Monday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m.
with the Rev. Jerry Douglas in charge. Burial was in Toledo, Iowa. He was born February 29, 1872 in Toledo,
Iowa. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. John William Youngman, On May 11, 1899, Mr.
Youngman was united in marriage to Jessie Thompson who preceded him in death
October 1, 1941. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Grace Zimmerling
of San Francisco, Calif, Mrs. Paul Burson of St. Paul, Minn., and Rolland E.
Youngman of Sylmar, Calif. On July 23, 1948, Mr. Youngman was united in
marriage with Mrs. Grace Coller of Ozark.. He is also survived by five
grandsons and ona great grandson. He was in the mercantile business in Toledo
for 35 years and was auditor of Tama County, Iowa. He was a member of the
Masonic Order, A. F. & A. M. of Toledo for many years. While living in
Toledo, he was an active member of the Methodist Church. In 1949, the Youngmans

Opal (Schoonover) Chenoweth Yorton
Nellie Opal Yorton was born September 15th,
1908 at Smithfield Illinois to the marriage of John Shoonover and Sadie Blackaby.
On May 15, 1934 Opal was united in marriage to Eugene (Gene) Yorton. Opal was
converted January 6, 1935 at the Tyng Memorial of Peoria Illinois spending most
of her life in Peoria. Opal and Gene moved to Branson, Missouri in 1966 and to
Nixa, Missouri in 1968 where they became active members of the Calvary Bible
Church of Nixa. Opal was a devoted Christian, receiving Christ as her personal
savior in 1935, loved and served her Lord faithfully. Her husband Gene preceded
her in death on Feb. 12, 1978. Survivors include her son, Dwight Chenoweth, Jr.
of Albuquerque, New Mexico, four grandsons and two granddaughters, five
step-grandsons, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren, one sister,
Mrs. Golda Bishop of Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Calvary Bible
Church of Nixa with Reverend Joseph Fahl officiating. Burial was at McConnell
Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation was between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday at Harris

Arbie A. Young, born November 30, 1908, the eldest son of Cynthia
“Frazier” and Walter Young, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ from his
Billings home garden, Thursday afternoon, July 25, 1996. Arbie took pride in
all he did from his days as a son, brother, soldier, employee, husband,
neighbor, deacon, church member, soloist or choir member, mayor, councilman,
family, home gardener and friend. Arbie was an active member of Calvary
Baptist, Republic, with Billings Senior Adults, past member of the Masonic
Lodge and the American Legion #676. He retired from the MFA Packing, carpentry
and Kentucky Baptist Children’s Home Houseparent. He has gone on to his heavenly
home to be with his parents; 2 brothers and a host of other relatives and
friends. He is awaiting those who survive: his wife of 49 years as of July 5,
1996, Illa Henrietta (Merritt) of the home, special caregiver friends, Barbara
and Gary Stewart, Billings; 2 brothers, Harold and his wife, Shirley, of
Springfield, and Elbert and his wife, Edna, of Keene, Texas; 2 sisters-in-law,
Maxine and her husband, Norval Burgess, Springfield and Lela Young of
Greenfield. A memorial worship service was held Saturday, at the Marionville
First Baptist Church with the Revs. Max Edmondson, Gary Stewart and Mike Green
leading with music by Robert Kenyon and Tim Russell. Burial was in Delaware
Cemetery, under direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Billings.

Springfield from 1944 to 1960 when she returned to Nixa. She was a member of

Waterloo, Iowa, for Martin E. Yaggy, of Route 2, Ozark. Mr. Yaggy died of a
heart attack in Ashdown, Ark. where he had employment at 4:10 p.m. Saturday,
Jan 21. A veteran of World War II, having served with the Air Force, he was an
independent truck operator for the past 16 years. He had lived at Ozark the
past three years and prior to that was a resident of New Mexico. Survivors
include his wife, Cecilia; four sons, Mark, Bernard, John and Joseph; five
daughters, Marcella, Cecelia, Charlotte, Jerry and Sarah, all of the home; one
brother, Bernard of St. Francis, Minn.; and two sisters, Mrs. P. A. Van Hyfte
and Mrs. Charlotte Gilbertson of Waterloo, Iowa.
Wanda Lee Young,
age 84, of Nixa, passed away in Nixa Christian Health Center at 12:25 p.m. on
Sunday, March 6, 2005. She was born August 15, 1920, the daughter of William
Gordon and Ida Mae (Jones) Chastain. In 1943 she and Charley Voil Young were
united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Young retired from
Lily Tulip after 27 years of service to that company. She was loved by all of
her family, and was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She
will be missed by both family and friends. The family wishes to thank Rev. Glen
Davies who visited Wanda in the nursing home, ministering to her spiritual
needs. Survivors include her son, Bill Young and his wife, Kathy, Nixa; a
grandson, Matthew Young, Nixa; a sister, Ima Jean Walker, Springfield; nieces,
nephews, and a host of friends. Along with her husband she was preceded in
death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. A graveside service will
be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in Delaware Cemetery, west of Nixa.
Visitation will be in Adams Funeral Home Nixa, from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight.

Almon O. "Bud" Young, age 87, of Ozark, passed
away on Saturday, November 25, 2000 at Doctors Hospital in Springfield. Mr.
Young was born on May 9, 1913 in Hurley, Missouri, and was the son of Jasper
Newton Young, and Mary Stella McCall-Young. On December 13, 1934 Mr. Young took
Evelyn Collins for his wife. He had been an employee of Ozark Mill and Elevator
for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 1996, and
two children, Valerie Jean-Rathbun, and Buddy R. Young, as well as six brothers
and sisters; Lola Graffis, Florence Brammer, Katherine Wilson, Glenn Young,
Clyde Young, and M'Lynn Geren. Survivors include a daughter Sue Forgey of Ozark
and eleven grandchildren. Adams Funeral Home of Ozark saw to the final
arrangements.
Trellis O. Young

Trellis O. Young, age 66, of Sparta, died
Sunday, May 30, 1999, in Greene Haven Nursing Home, Springfield. He was born March
22, 1933, in McClurge in Douglas County, Missouri, and was the son of Glenn and
Grace (Jones) Prine. He attended school in Douglas County. In the early 1950's
he joined the United States Navy and served in the South Pacific doing clean up
after World War II. He was in the United States Navy for 23 years, retiring
from active duty with the rank of BT1 Trellis enjoyed spending time with family
and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Debbie Young,
and a brother Troy L. Young. Survivors include: Two daughters and their
husbands, Treva and Earl Haskins, Springfield, and Beverly and Pat Knisell,
Ozark; three sons and their wives, Neil and Teresa Young, Sparta, Troy and Dena
-Young, and Larry and Vonda Young all of Jefferson City; fourteen
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, June 2, in Delaware Cemetery, west of Nixa under the direction of
Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
Kenneth L. Young, age 80, of Nixa, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, in his home. He was born March 26, 1925, near Selmore community south of Ozark, the son of Luther A. and Ruby Nix Young. He was united in marriage to Martha Ann Young on June 4, 1952, in Tucson, Arizona. To this union one son, Gregory Kenneth Young, was born March 29, 1964. Mr. Young was a retired soldier and had served in the Pacific Theatre in WWII and the Korean War in 1950-51. He was awarded the Combat Infantrymans badge with star, Bronze Star medal with oak leaf cluster and "V" device, the Purple Heart medal with one oak leaf cluster, The Army Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, and several other awards and decorations. Upon retirement from the Army Mr. Young was employed by Missouri Division of Employment Security for 21 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Young was a Mason and member of Friend Lodge #352 in Ozark, Mo., Scottish Rite Valley of Joplin, Mo., where he was the Venerable Master of the Consistory in 1986. He was coronated Inspector General Honorary 33rd Degree in 1989. He was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple and had served on the Board of Trustees from 1982 to 1985. He was a charter member of the Legion of Honor and had been a member of the White Mustangs at one time. At the time of his death he was a member of Chapter 621 Military Order of the Purple Heart in Springfield, Mo. He served his community as a member of Nixa Board of Education for nine years, and the Nixa City Utilities Board for four years. He was member of Nixa Christian Church, where he had served on the board of Elders and Deacons for a number of years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Martha Ann; his son Gregory K. Young and his wife Shara, Granite City, Ill., four sisters; Mary Jane Dickens, Great Bend, Kan., Irma Ruth Stockstill, Bolivar, Mo., Ella Mae Young, Independence, Mo., Betty Lou Royal and husband Bob, Springfield, Mo.,; one brother, Luther A. Young and his wife Winnifred, Springfield, Mo., and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Nixa Christian Church with Dr. Rod Cannedy and Chaplain Jimmy Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Delaware Cemetery, west of Nixa with full Military Honors conducted by the Ft. Leonard Wood Honor Guard. Vernon Yates,
83, Springfield, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, June 26, 2005, in St. John's
Regional Health Care Center. He was born May 22, 1922, in Springfield, the son
of the late Tom H. and Gladys (Holley) Clark. He was united in marriage to
Margaret Mary Nadue, she preceded him in death in 1970. In May, 1971, he was
united in marriage to Faye Dawson. Vernon was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was
employed for many years as Service Manager with Paul Schupbach Chevrolet. He was
an active member of Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, Springfield, involved in
the Helps Ministry as the church and daycare's handyman. For over 30 years, he
was the archery technician at Bow Hunter's Pro Shop and Archery USA, always
greeting each customer with a joke and smile. Vernon was fun loving and lived
life to the fullest. He focused wholeheartedly on helping his family and many
friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Walter; two daughters, Cheryl
Thompson and Sandra Yates; and a grandson, Bradley Grabher. He is survived by
his wife, Faye; three sons, Robert Vernon Yates and wife, Kay, Roundup, Mont.,
Richard Wayne Yates and wife, Sherron, Seymour, and Kenneth Dawson and wife,
Gloria, Springfield; two daughters, Linda L. Kelley, Fordland, and Peggy
Hedgpeth and husband, Roger, Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-
grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in
J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, at the corner of Highway 60 and Farm Road 223,
west of Rogersville. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Hopedale
Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight in the funeral home.

p.m. June 3 at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, from injuries
suffered in a motorcycle accident in Christian County. Services for Mr. Yates
were held Monday in Meadors Chapel, Billings, with the Rev. Paul Swadley
officiating. Burial was in Garoutte Cemetery. A graduate of Billings High
School, Mr. Yates was an employee of Ramey's Supermarket, Springfield.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Ellis, of the home; his father, Joe Yates,
Springfield; a brother, Jeffrey Yates, of the home; and his maternal

Harry C. Young, 77, Nixa, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 1991,
in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, following a short illness. He was
born in Nixa Aug. 19, 1913, to John and Emma Young. He married Rayma McConnell
Jan. 27, 1934. He was a retired farmer, carpenter and developer. Survivors
include his wife, Rayma, of the home; two sons and their wives, Keith and Doris
Young, and David and Pam Young, all of Nixa; two sisters, Fern Hedgpeth and
Elsie Reynolds, both of Nixa; five grandchildren, Dianne Litts, Boston, Phil,
Aaron, Brian and Abby Young, all of Nixa; two step-grandchildren, Susan McCall
and Eliese Foshe; and a great-step-child, Nicholas Foshe. Services were Monday
in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, with evangelist Winford Lee officiating.

Care Center, Springfield. He was born Feb. 25, 1965, in Springfield to Etta
Faye Owen Young and the late Aught Van Young. On June 14, 1991, Young was
married to Carrie Anne Pratt in Highlandville. Survivors include his wife,
Carrie Young, of the family home; three children, Amber Young, Highlandville,
Anthony Young and Adam McCord, both of the home; two grandchildren, Kyle and
Brenna Young; his mother, Etta Faye Young, Highlandville; two brothers, Marty
Young, Spokane, and Brent Young and wife Holly, Highlandville; three sisters,
Tambria Young and Rebecca Newberry, both of Highlandville, and Melissa Potter,

Springfield, after a short illness. He was a native of Nixa and resided in the
home of Jerry Young, his nephew. He was a retired farmer and livestock trader.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma, in 1988; and three brothers, Claud
and Clell, both of Nixa, and Ray, Ozark. He is survived by a son, Donald E.
Young, Nixa; a grandson, Wayne, Nixa; a nephew, Jerry, Nixa, who was raised in
his home; a brother, Paul, San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and
cousins. The funeral is today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in Harris Colonial Chapel,
205 N. Main, Nixa, with the Rev. William Belko officiating. Burial will follow

Loyal Monroe Young, 82, of Nixa, died at 3:20 p.m. July 22
at the Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, after a long illness. Services for
Mr. Young were held July 25 in the Nixa Christian Church with the Rev. Bill
Mallote officiating. Burial was in Delaware Cemetery under the direction of
Harris Colonial Chapel. Mr. Young was born Nov. 30, 1906 in rural Nixa. A
lifelong resident of the Nixa community, Mr. Young moved to the Ozark Nursing
and Care Center nearly five years ago. He was a retired carpenter, and along
with other Nixa residents had participated in the construction of several
military facilities throughout the midwest during World War II. An avid
fisherman, he was one of the original founders of Nixa's Sucker Day. He was
preceded in death by his wife, "Miss Irene," in 1987. Mr. Young was a
member of the Nixa Christian Church, where he served on the Board of Elders and
Deacons for a number of years. He is survived by a brother, William, of Culver
City, California; and by a niece, Martha Young, Nixa. Memorial contributions
are suggested to the Nixa Christian Church.

Emmit C. Young, 87, Highlandville,
died Oct. 26 in Nixa Park Care Center. He was born in Lexington, Okla., in 1902
and he lived in Chickasha, Okla., for 18 years where he worked as a stockman
and trader before moving to Missouri in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Ruth,
Highlandville; a daughter, Inell Gander, Durant, Okla.; five sons, Nathan of
Geary, Okla., David of Oklahoma City, Robert of Hickman, Calif., Donald of
Crane, and Carwin of Highlandville; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
and four sisters, Alice Still, Camdenton, Dorotha Young, Chickasha, Alene
Batwell, California, and Olivet Heltcell, Oklahoma City. Services were held
Monday in Harris Colonial Chapel, Nixa. Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery.
Jerry Young,
age 67, of Nixa, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005, following a short
illness. He was born January 25, 1938, the son of Claud C. and Osha
(McCafferty) Young. From the age of five, he was raised by a loving uncle and
aunt, Roy F. and Irma Young. Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Florine
Young Tyndall, and a brother, Jack Dee Young. Survivors include: his wife of 42
1/2 years, Gale (Campbell) Young; a son, Corbin C. Young, Parker, Colorado; a
niece, Pamela Young Gilbert and husband, Gill, Chicago, Illinois; a nephew,
Brigg Young and wife, Stephanie, Dallas, Texas; a greatnephew, Justin Young,
Manhattan, Kansas; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside funeral

died at 12:55 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Aurora Nursing Center after a long illness.
Services for Mrs. Yoachum were held Feb. 27 in the Meadors Chapel, Billings,
with Fred Bailey officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs.
Yoachum was a longtime resident of the Billings community, where she was the first music teacher at Billings High
School. She was a member of the Billings Christian Church, the Ladies' Guild,
and the Farm Club. Surviving are a son, William Marion Owen, Billings; two
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Memorial

Linda Sue Young

Linda Sue Young, born November 28, 1951, departed this life June 5, 1973
in Castle Rock, Washington, where she was overcome with smoke and fumes during
a fire in the home of her grandmother Armstrong. Linda came to live with Mr.
and Mrs. Don Young on July 12, 1968 and made her home with them for four years.
She was a graduate of Nixa High School and Graff Area Vo-Tech Center in 1972
and went into the Women's Army Corps in July of the same year. Linda was
converted and baptized into the Nixa First Baptist Church in June 1969.
Survivors include a brother, Frank and six sisters, Susie and Joan, who still reside with the Don Youngs, Betty Crawford of Ravenden Spring,
Ark., Sally Leaf, state of Calif.; Ruthie Williams, state of Wash.; and
Wilajean, address unknown. Funeral services were held in Washington.

native of Christian County, Mr. Young had resided in Springfield for the past
45 years. He was employed as a fireman at the O'Reilly General Hospital during World War II, and was employed by
Biderman Furniture Store for a number of years prior to his retirement. His
survivors include two sons, Kenneth Young, Nixa; and SMSgt. Luther Young, Jr.,
Eglin Air Force Base, Florida; four daughters, Mary Jane Dickens, Great Bend,
Kansas, and Irma Ruth Stockstill, Ella Mae Young and Betty Lou Royal, all of

Cemetery. A native of Joplin, Mrs. Young had resided in the Ozark and Nixa
communities for most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church
of Nixa, and a member of the Nixa Garden Club. She is survived by her husband,

James W. Yates, 58, died Friday, Oct. 5, 1990, in St. John's
Regional Health Center, Springfield, following a heart attack. Born in Mountain
Grove, he was the son of Ora and Sybil Yates. On June 4, 1955, he married
Loretta Calmer. He had lived in the Ozark area for 15 years and was employed by
Grantham's Home Center of Ozark. He was a member of Elwood Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; a daughter and her husband, Debbie and Roy
Hagewood, Marionville; a son and his wife, Greg and Donna Yates, Wyantskill,
N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Alicia, David, Mark, Jamie and Cody Hagewood, and
Melody, Jamie and Greg Yates; a sister, Esther Welch, Ozark; and a niece, Renee
Welch, Ozark. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were
Monday in Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Freeman officiating. Graveside
services were Monday in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mountain Grove. Memorial

Alice Mable Johnson Yeisley, 81, Ave, formerly of Sparta,
died at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 1994 at St. John’s Regional Health
Center. She was born February 6, 1913 in Pasco, Wash, the daughter of John W.
and Lizzie May Smith Dobbs. She lived most of her life in the Sparta Community
where she worked as an office manager for the telephone company. She enjoyed sewing
as a hobby. Her parents, two husbands, Clifford Johnson and Claude Yeisley in
1969, two sisters, Myrtle Moss and Georgia Gardner and a brother, Chalmer
Dobbs, preceded her in death. Survivors include two brothers, John Dobbs, Ava
and Charles Dobbs, Dayton, Wash. Graveside services were held Thursday, Nov. 10
in the Sparta Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Smith officiating under direction of
Harris, a Heritage Funeral Home of Ozark.

a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of the Nixa community. Survivors

Lawrence, Santa Ana, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Harris Chapel in Nixa, with
the Rev. Roscoe Harding officiating. Burial was in Delaware Cemetery.

R. Young, 67, died Saturday night in her home at Nixa, after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Nixa and aligned with the Methodist church.
Survivors are her husband, J.C. Young; one son, Owen, of La Porte, TX; a
daughter, Mrs. Loyal Young of Nixa; one grandson; a brother, Everett Owens of
Nixa; and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Douglas, of Vancouver, WA. Funeral services
were held Tuesday afternoon in the Delaware church by Rev. J. Branstetter.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Harris of Nixa in charge.

Jasper N. Young, 82, former realtor of
Stone and Christian counties and known familiarly to many as “Dad” Young, died
at his home in Ozark Friday, March 23. Funeral services were held at the Chaffin
Funeral Home chapel Tuesday afternoon. The boys’ quartet from the Ozark High
School sang; and at the request of the deceased his longtime friend, DeWitt C.
Leonard of Ozark, gave an appropriate reading. Burial was in the Ozark
cemetery. Born in Tennessee, Young came to Stone county with his parents in an
ox-cart when he was one year old. They settled near Hurley, where Young grew up
and went to school. As a young man he went to Illinois, settling near Henry,
where in 1894 he married his first wife, Fanny Fountain and where his first
five children were born. A successful fruit grower and poultry raiser, he lived
at Henry, IL until the death of his wife in 1911, when he returned to Stone
county. Here he farmed for several years, eventually going into real estate. He
married Stella McCall in 1912 and to them were born two children. In 1930 Young
came to Ozark as field supervisor and agent for United Farm Agency, one of the
original agents of the company, and continued in that position until his
retirement three years ago. His home on the banks of the Finley river at the
bridge on Highway 65 was a familiar landmark. Mrs. Young died in 1948, but all

Young, 62, of Hollister, died at 11:30 am Monday at Cox Medical Center South
Springfield, after a long illness. Graveside services for Mrs. Young were held
at 2 pm Wednesday in Delaware Cemetery near Clever, with the Rev. Jim Jackman
officiating. Burial was under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Clever.
Mrs. Young was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Nixa. Her survivors include
her husband, Troy; a son, Troy R., Jefferson City; a daughter, Grace L. Bryson,
Nixa; three sisters, Kathleen McGee, Hollister, and Bonnie McGinnis and Peggy
Scott, both of Branson; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Bryson, Nixa, and
Savannah Young, Jefferson City.

Effie Katherine Young, the daughter of Loranza Dow and Myrtle Manona
(Parker) Applegate, was born on July 1, 1902, in Pansy, Missouri, and passed
away on July 13, 2006, in Springfield, at the age of 104. On April 15, 1922,
she was united in marriage with Lynn R. Young and to this union six children
were born. Lynn preceded her in death on April 21, 1978. Effie was a devoted
wife and mother. She was a longtime member of Glenstone Baptist Church. She is survived
by one son, Tony R. Young and his wife, Carolyn, of Russellville, Arkansas two
daughters, Madge Y. Nelson, and Cathern M. Boyd and her husband, Jim, all of
Springfield 19 grandchildren 46 great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents three
sons, Fred A., Lynn R. Jr., and Don C. Young one infant grandson, Douglas A.
Nelson and 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, July 15,
2006, at Glenstone Baptist Church, with interment following in McCauley
Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service. In her memory,

Raymond E. Yadon, 83, Springfield, Mo., passed away on July 31, 2006.
He was born on May 19, 1924, in Springfield. Ray is the beloved husband of
Phyllis, his childhood sweetheart. Ray served proudly in World War II as a
member of Company B, 274th Infantry 70th Division. He was awarded the Bronze
Star and the Purple Heart. Ray attended the University of Missouri School of
Medicine and received his medical degree. He was a Radiologist until retiring
in 1982. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Proulx; and his son,
David Yadon. Along with his wife Phyllis, he is survived by his daughter,
Patricia Yadon and her husband, Shannon Tompkins; his stepson, David Mark
Spickler and his wife, Nancy; his stepdaughter, Patricia Bommarito and her
husband, Mike Brown; his stepdaughter, Kimberlee Eighmy and her husband,
Johnnie; as well as seven grandchildren and three dear cousins. Visitation is 4
to 6 p.m. today, August 3, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral Mass will
be 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Ozark.

John Arthur Young died Dec. 24 in his home in Hurley at the age of 68 years. He was a lifelong resident and farmer of the Hurley community. Carson Frederick Young passed on Sept. 28, 1948, at the age of 69 years. Mr. Young was the only son of Jerome W. Young and Mary E. Young. In 1899, he married Collie Kinder, who preceded him in death. Mr. Young was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Ozark, Mo., until the Lodge’s charter was surrendered. In the year of 1944, Mr. Young was converted and was baptized into the Ozark Baptist church. Survivors are: three children, Lynn Young of Springfield, Grover Young and Jerome Young, both of Ozark, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. in the Chaffin Funeral Home chapel, but the Rev. Reg Mapes with burial in the McCauley Cemetery under the direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home.

James B. Young was born in Christian county, Mo., April 19,
1863, and departed this life July 7, 1948 at the age of 85 years, two months
and 18 days. He was married to Ellen Bolin Feb. 21, 1884, and to this union
were born five children. His wife and two sons preceded him in death. Those who
survive him are one son and two daughters, Walter of Clever with whom he has
lived for the past 20 years; Mrs. Stella Seaton of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and Mrs.
Nellie Seaton of Springfield, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren,
other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his departure. He was converted
some 44 years ago and united with the Mt. Sinai Baptist church where he served
as deacon. He was an honest, upright citizen respected by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Friday in the Mt. Sinai Baptist church,
conducted by Rev. Wroth Caughron of Ozark with burial in the church cemetery
under the direction of Maples Funeral Home of Clever.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Yauger, 48, who died of a
heart ailment at her home near Oldfield on Saturday, Feb. 13, were conducted
Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Floyd Hanks, with burial in Boston cemetery under
direction of the Sparta Funeral Home, Rathbun & Chaffin. Mrs. Yauger was
one of four orphan children left in the Children’s Home at Springfield when she
was two years old. She was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Wilson and lived for a
time in Kansas, later moving to California where she met and married Louis
Yauger. Due to her love of the Ozarks, they have made their home near Oldfield
for the past 14 years. She is survived by the husband, Louis, four adopted
children, Virgil, Dorothy, Delmae, and Glenda; two sisters, Minta Sabin and
Lula Moody of Oldfield, and a brother, Albert of Ava, Mo. She was united with
the Baptist church many years ago.

A native of the Prospect community, she was converted and united with the Prospect church at the age of 18. She remained a member there until her death. She was united in marriage to Carson Young in 1924. Youngblood, 76, former Ozark resident and past owner of the Christian County
Telephone Company, was buried at the Brookline cemetery Sunday afternoon after
funeral services in Conway, where he was mayor, earlier in the day. Mr.
Youngblood, who left Ozark seven years ago was killed, almost instantly with
two friends, in an automobile crash at the intersection of Highways 65 and 66
at Springfield Friday evening. The other two persons, Mr. and Mrs. John Smock
of Conway, were riding in the Model A Ford Youngblood was driving. Youngblood’s
car collided with a truck loaded with wood posts, the driver of which escaped
injury. Mr. Youngblood is survived by his widow, Lillie, two daughters, Mrs.
Grace Cantrell of Springfield and Mrs. Cleo Taylor of Paris, MO, and a brother,
Henry of Idaho.

past seven years. He would have been 80 years old had he lived until March 6.
He is survived by the widow, one son and three daughters, R.A. Young and Mrs.

Yarberry, age 67, of Willard, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007. He was
born October 22, 1940, in Willard, the son of William and Hazel (Taylor)
Yarberry. Mr. Yarberry retired from Campbell Ford in Ozark in 2000 as a service
writer. He enjoyed bluegrass music, fishing and was a NASCAR fan. Survivors
include: a son, Mike Yarberry, Unionville; a stepdaughter, Melinda Merritt and
husband, Ottie, Ozark; three grandchildren, Rebekah, Olivia and Jacob Merritt;
and two sisters, Karrol Yarberry and Beverly Yarberry, both of Willard. He was
preceded in death by his longtime companion, Christine Bruton, in 1999; a
brother, Donald Yarberry; stepson, Nathan Bruton; an aunt, Georgia Hartsell;
and his parents. A graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in
Sparta Cemetery, under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Springfield News-Leader,
