They may have lived with their son's family Chris REID who owned a poultry and creamery store in Kahoka in the 1920's. Children of Chris REID were Fern, Fawn, Francis, and Harry. I have found the name of Frances Welch with a Keokuk address and Fawn Fitzgerald living in RFD Arbella, MO. which are probably the married names of two of the daughters. Another document lists Chris as C.C. REID and was also signed by Carrie REID whom I have assumed was his wife. I have been to all my local genealogy societies, have contacted several regional libraries, and spent the past month searching the internet, but cannot locate any Census info on Clark County, MO for 1900 or there-about. If anyone out there has access to this census.... I would be so very very grateful if you would do a look-up for me. I am looking for my G Ggrandfather, Clarence Erwin RAINE and his father, Oscar Turner RAINE. Clarence would've been born sometime between Dec 1890 through Dec 1891 (per his son's birth certificate "aged 24"). Also, the birth record only showed Clarence being born in "MO". But a woman I am corresponding with says that she had a relative "Oscar Turner RAINE" (I believe this is my line), that lived in/around Clark County, MO. (Fairmont, also/to?) I believe that Erwin should be shown on the 1900 census, with his father...Clarence moved to Portland, Oregon sometime before 1915 (the birth date of his son). He was divorced from his wife in June 1918 in Portland, Oregon. He may have stayed in Oregon, or may have moved back home to MO after the divorce? Please.... If you can help, would you please email me...Thank you very much for your time! (1780-1843) and Susanna (FLANRY) HOWARD (1785-aft. 1850) who came to Clark County, Missouri in 1837.
One of their daughters, Phoebe (ca. 1809-ca. 1852), married John J. MARTIN in Harlan County, Kentucky on 27 June 1827. Along with most of the children of John N. and Susannah HOWARD, the MARTINs also chose to move to Missouri.
The MARTINs had the following children (w/approximate birthdates);
Rebecca 1834,
William 1836,
John 1837,
Phoebe 1844,
Jefferson Green 15 June 1846
Albert 1849.
The only information I have is on Dr. Jefferson Green MARTIN, who married Alice L. LANGFORD on May 13, 1873 and had at least 3 children who died in childhood in the 1870's and early 1880's.
After Phoebe (HOWARD) MARTIN's death, John J. MARTIN remarried his brother-in-law's, Adron A. HOWARD (1823-1848) widow, Elizabeth (WRIGHT) HOWARD (1828-1888). They had at least four children (w/approximate birthdates)-
Thomas W. 1855,
Moses 1856,
Herman M. 1857
Elizah 1867.
Probably there were at least two more sons, Perry G. 1859 and Wesley 1861. The children from the second marriage are unrelated to the HOWARD family, but their decedents may have information on their older half-siblings.
Any information on this family would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Levi Henry BARROWS (1843-1925), son of Guy BARROWS (1806-1847) and Elvira (STEWART) BARROWS (ca. 1820-1905) came to Clark County Missouri in the early 1850s with his mother and his brother George Benair BARROWS. His grandfather Levi STEWART (1796-after 1860) also came at the same time. I would like a death date and burial place for Levi STEWART. I have lots to share on the Stewart family. Levi BARROWS was a veteran of the Civil War and he married Clarissa A. CRANDALL (1846-1924) who was born in Ontario Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph A. CRANDALL (1809-after 1875) and Mary (YOUNG) CRANDALL. Joseph CRANDALL was a naturalized American citizen and he fought with Col. David Moore in the Civil War. I am interested in anything I can find on the Crandall family. Levi's son Thara A. BARROWS married Luella (COOK) BARROWS (1868-1944) , daughter of Lemuel COOK (1846-1917) and Georetta Glass (WILSON) COOK (1846-1899). I would like more information on the COOK family. Lemuel COOK was the son of Joseph COOK (1809-1881) and Melvina (UNDERWOOD) COOK (ca. 1812-?). The COOK family after moving to Caldwell County Missouri from North Carolina in the 1840s seem to have been in and out of Clark County depending on the year. Lemuel was buried at Crowley Cemetery in Rayville, but he resided near Kahoka and also Palo Missouri, Seemed to move around quite a bit. After Georetta's death he married Mrs. Jane AMOTE. He is supposed to have attended school at Union. I would like to know more about the Cook family and was Lemuel in the Civil War. Georetta Glass WILSON was the daughter of Granville WILSON (1806-1862) and Parmelia (OWEN) WILSON (1823-1902). I have some information to share on the WILSON family. Granville was the son of Robert WILSON and Georetta (GLASS) WILSON. Granville WILSON and siblings along with father Robert WILSON came to Missouri from Kentucky before 1840 and lived in Union Township Clark County Missouri. Granville married Parmelia OWEN in Scotland County Missouri. Parmelia remarried to a SMITH sometime after Granville's death. Parmelia OWEN was the granddaughter of Dorcas (LEE) Whittington MUSGROVE (1768-1840). I believe she was raised by the MUSGROVE family. She was the daughter of Mary WHITTINGTON (1793-1829) and Albert OWEN (1792-?). Any information on the LEE, WHITTINGTON, or OWEN family would be very much appreciated. Gilbert MUSGROVE and Dorcas, his wife are buried in Cowgill Cemetery in Clark County Missouri. The MUSGROVE family was very prominent in Clark County.
