Membership is $10 for individuals and $15 for families. If you are not a member, you can do research for $5.00. They are not on-line, although I believe they are working on it. Membership will include a subscription to "The Clay County Mosaic" which usually has some really good info in it. Their hours of operation are: Open on the first Wednesday evening of each month from 6:30 to 9:00 so that people unable to visit us during regular working hours can do some research with us. They are closed on all national holidays. Members are free, but non-members will be charged $5.00, our regular daily fee for non-members (as we are a 100% volunteer organization, not supported by any governmental agency, and have to pay our bills.) They now have an e-mail address: ccarch@qni.com and are working on a webpage. Will let you know when that is finished.

They will also do research for you. Here is their policy:

"Research requests by mail are accepted. Each request must be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope and an initial research fee of $10.00 per surname for one hour of research. Additional hours are $10.00 per hour." Copy fees are additional.
