John J. Stampfli Dies, Rites Sunday
John Joseph
Stampfli, 77 of 510 E. Ashley St. died at a Fulton hospital early
today. Mr. Stampfli was born Oct.4,1885 in Jefferson City. He was married April
13, 1913 to
Bertha Bittick, who survives. Also surviving are one step-daughter,
Mrs. Eula
Reno, Jefferson City; three step-sons, Frank Bittick, Jefferson City, Ray
Bittick, Eldon, and Cecil Bittick, Russellville; one sister, Mrs. Minnie
Hutchinson, Raytown; and 11 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Sunday at a local funeral home chapel with burial at
Riverview Cemetery.
Husband of my great-grandaunt.
