In October 2002, the the Crawford County Historical Society opened the Crawford County Historical Museum located at 308 North Smith Street in Cuba, Missouri.  On display at the museum is a civil war room, a one room school house, and many more displays centering around the late 1800's.  Also on display at the museum are the Crawford County tax books from 1857 through the present.  These books make wonderful research tools for genealogy.

The museum is operated by the Crawford County Historical Society and is funded by membership monies and donations.  Membership is $5.00 per year, renewable in January of each year.  The Society meets on the third Thursday of the month at 1 pm.  Meetings are held at 308 North Smith Street in Cuba, Missouri.  The hours of operation for the museum are Wednesday and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 4 pm.  The mailing address is:
