My deceased Great Aunt Mearle Hardy
Politowitz saved this newspaper clipping. The quality is poor,
but I thought that the names might someday be beneficial to someone.
I believe this was printed in 1974 b/c it goes on the discuss how it
has been 50 years.
The first graduates that were
privileged to don robes and caps and receive diplomas from Bourbon
High School is (sic?) the class of 1924. They were (back row),
Walter Harmon (Babe), Roy Pal, jason Barton, Harry Schwidde and
Orlando (Landy) Jones. (Second row) Evelyn Hasse, Zelma
Rohrer, Rena dollar, Eileen Racthel, Alma Powers. (Seated)
Gladys Page, Vera Bacon, Esther Larson, Ruth Baker, Thelma Pace,
Helen Poole. (Standing) their teacher John Kasoman (Prof.)
(Seated) Garland Hughes Ralph Bacon, Theodore Downes, Raymond Hasse
and Tom Crabtree. Absent the day of the picture were tow
graduates of the 1924 class: Hazellle Rohreer and Florence
Barton and the Freshman Group, Fred Rohrer.
