Cuba High School and Band

This photo is from 1928 or 1929.  The young woman sitting 6th from the right is my grandmother, Mary L. Girault, and standing 8th from the right is her soon to be husband Lewis R. Marshall.  Lewis's father, Humphrey, was the editor of the Cuba newspaper and Mary's father, John E., owned and operated the Standard Oil gas station in town.

This was a post card sent to my grandmother, Leah Helen Seitz Taylor in Seitz, MO.  The post mark year is illegible (the day is April 24), but it has my grandmother's maiden name and she married in June 1909, so it could be dated before June 1909.
