This is a picture of John William,
wife Tempa Rosa (Brand) Jones, with Doy Esten, William Sherman and
John Elmer Jones with the dogs. It was taken about 1926 in
front of the old Court House cabin in Steelville where they
lived. It is now a historical site, better known as the
Snelson-Brinker Cabin. It was owned by Huston, a good
friend of my grandfather at the time this picture was taken.
My father, Carl McDonald Jones had married and left home by this
time.
