Dennis Mullen came to America from
Co. Galway, Ireland, about 1850, one of three Mullen brothers to
reside in Crawford Co., MO. He married in NJ to Bridget
Radigan and they had their first child of 11 there. They were
in Crawford Co, MO after 1862 when Dennis went to work for the
railroad. He bought land from the railroad, about 1875 in
Liberty Township, Leasburg, Crawford Co., MO and farmed the land.
He and Bridget had 11 children (according to the 1900 census); 10
lived. Their descendants are spread across the United States
from end to end. Dennis was born about 1830 and died March 17,
1900 in Leasburg, Crawford Co., MO and is buried in Leasburg in the
Catholic Cemetery; the old Fitzgerald, now called Sacred Heart.
