Hi! I have been researching the Musgrave family of Johnson County, TN for about 12 years, and am trying to run down the descendants of a daughter of Levi HEATH, Urania HEATH, who married Leonard Shoun OSBORNE. They moved to Crawford Co MO @ 1857. Prior to their leaving, the 1850 census lists (with some added information):
Leonard Shoun OSBORNE b. 1823 Johnson Co TN s/o Joseph OSBORNE and Lydia MUSGRAVE (we have ancestors of both if wanted)
Urania HEATH b. 1818 NC d/o Levi HEATH and Mary WILSON, both believed to have died in Crawford Co MO
Rachael C. OSBORNE b. 1845 Johnson Co TN
Levi Heath OSBORNE b. 1847 Johnson Co TN
Polly M. OSBORNE b. 1848 Johnson Co TN
Emory M. Osborne b. 1850 Johnson Co TN
There may well be other relations that moved with Levi Heath. He was a popular man, and didn't like his daughter Margaret HEATH marrying Andrew POTTER. We've always wondered what happened to Levi once he got to Missouri. Other than an article in the Johnson County, Tennessee History 1986 (with a picture of the wrong building attributed to Levi, at that...the picture shows the 2 room Greenwood School on the site of Levi's school, which is one room and was moved across the road when Greenwood was built). Any information would be appreciated.
