SURNAMES: USERY and MATTHEWS
I am researching two lead mines that appear on my property on USGS data files whose source is most likely old mining maps from 1850-1900. The names of the mines are the "Matthews Lead Mine" and the "Usury Lead Mine" (sic). The mines (which were probably old pit mines) are located about 1 mile North of Berryman Missouri on either side of the Courtois River in Crawford county. I would like to find any information anyone has on these two mines, such as relatives that might have owned the mines or mined there. The Matthews mine might have also had a mill located nearby.
I'm also very interested in old lead mining pictures from pre-1900.
I have a record of deeds for a portion of the property and am going to the courthouse next week for more research, and will share this information with anyone that relations associated with the mines. Thanks!

SURNAMES: YARBROUGH, YAWBERRY, SILVEY, PARKS, GREEN, SUMMERS
I am trying to find information on John Yarbrough, father of Robert Yawberry. Robert Yawberry was married first to Mary Silvey and then to Rebecca Parks; they lived in Crawford County in the early to late 1800s. John Yarbrough came from Arkansas to Missouri with his wife and some of his children who were born in Arkansas; the rest were born in Missouri. I need to know if anyone knows what John's wife's name was and where they are buried. Do not know why the name change from Yarbrough to Yawberry. Robert and Mary are buried in the Turnbough cemetery in Davisville, MO. Also need to know if anyone knows where Alexander Green is buried; he died in Flatriver, MO, in 1895. These are by ancestral grandparents.
SURNAMES: GREEN, SUMMERS
Does anyone know where Alexander Marion Green is buried? He passed away in Flatriver, MO, in 1895. He lived with his wife and family in Crawford County, Davisville, MO. His wife's name was Mary Jane, nee Summers. There are no records of his burial in St. Francis County. Possibly he was brought to Crawford County for burial.
SURNAMES: HARRISON & TURNBOUGH OR TURNBO
I am trying to locate the parents of Harrison Tinker who married Mary Harper Turnbough on 1-14-1847 in Crawford Co. Harrison was born about 1823 in IN and died near Dillard, MO; buried in Tinker plot on John Coleman property. His father was probably from Kentucky; his mother from Indiana.
Also, Mary "Polly" Harper Turnbough. Was the "Harper" a middle name or previous married name? Mary was born about 1825 in TN, daughter of Samuel & Jane ?, from Kentucky. She is also buried in Tinker plot near Dillard.
Anyone with more info on these two please contact me.
