Mr. Franek was born March 18, 1918 in St. Louis, MO, a former resident of Lenox, MA, he retired from the Clark/Aiken Company in Lee, MA in 1983 and moved to Cape Coral, he was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the V.F.W. Post #8463 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3957 both in Cape Coral; Surviors include his wife of 22 years, Helen of Cape Coral, two daughters Susan C. Bockes, Kansas City, MO and Mary Jo Mundell and husband Walter of Wheaton, TX, two stepsons Paul McCarthy, Lumberville, PA and David McCarthy and wife Sandra of Hopkinton, MA, one sister Gertrude Frese of St. Louis, MO, six grandchildren and 24 nieces and nephews.
