James A POLLOCK Married Lucretia McLENDON in Saline Co. Mo in 1889, then migrated to Daviess County where they lived for a while. They had one child,William Henry Pollock. James evidently did farm work. Some time between 1891-1893 there was a major flood. James and about 10 or 11 others drowned while trying to fortify a levy near Breckenridge. This is all I know about my great grandfather. Any specifics about the flood or anyone else in it or the Pollock line would be deeply appreciated.Thanks!

John Miles LEE was B. 15 Dec 1859 in your county according to the 1860 census...father was Joseph LEE and Mother was Eliza....notes indicate John was raised by a Mrs. Calkins in your county....there is also some confusion about a Josiah Lee...was he a twin brother of Josiah Lee?
