BAY CEMETARY ON SINKIN CREEK.

 EVERY YEAR, 4TH SUNDAY IN MAY

THE ANCESTORS OF THE PEOPLE BURIED THERE HAVE DINNER ON THE GROUNDS AND SHARE FAMILY INFORMATION. IT IS A GOOD TIME FOR ANYONE SEEKING HISTORICAL INFORMATION TO COME TO THE CEMETARY. COME EARLY AS MANY OF THE OLD TIMERS WHO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE GO HOME RIGHT AFTER LUNCH.

THERE ARE MANY BAYS , THOMPSONS AND SWINEYS BURIED HERE.

Wallis

The Wallis Reunion will be held the fourth Sunday in June (June 26th) at about 10:00 AM again as it has for many many years. The location will be at the Zion Methodist Church on Highway 32 about just west of the 119 Junction. We usually sing a few songs in the old Church (Built by our Wallis ancestors) and then have a picnic lunch on the Church Yard Grounds.

Come and visit and bring along a dish to share and chair to keep you up off of the Dent County Chiggers. If the weather is good and enough of us wants to go for a short trip, we may be able to go over to see the location of the 'Old Wallis Homestead'.

All you cousins are invited too. So hope to see lots of Wallis, Patterson, Floyd, White, Holland, Hebblethwaite, Kell, Haws, Triplett, Nelson and probably half a dozen or more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Have a safe trip down to the Reunion.
