- Bucoda is located on Highway V, east of P.
No businesses other thanfarming remains. A dynamic community through the 40s, 50s and some of the 60s. Then a road knocked out the store and the cotton gin closed. Bildins were torn down and most returned to farm land.
NOTE: that Byrds and Bucoda are the same community.
