General Society of the War of 1812 This is for male descendants of those who had military service for the USA during the War of 1812. There is a Missouri society and a St. Louis chapter will be forming soon.
St. Charles County Historical Society The SCCHS preserves historical and genealogical records and artifacts relating to St. Charles County and Missouri; and provides educational and research opportunities in these areas. In addition, the SCCHS is the depository for the Fernando de Leyba Chapter Yearbooks.
Commemoration Committee for the Battle of Fort San Carlos The members of the committee are people who are interested in the history of St. Louis, the history of the American Revolution, and simply history in general. Some members are descendants of the players in the saga of the Battle for St. Louis at Fort San Carlos. Many members belong to the DAR or SAR. An annual commeration is held the Sunday before Memorial Day at the Missouri History Museum, located at Lindell and DeBaliviere in Forest Park. All are welcome to attend the commeration and to join.

Operation Ancestor Search (OAS) Operation Ancestor Search (OAS) is a free genealogy program offered to injured service members in military hospitals, Veterans hospitals and armed forces retirement homes across the country. This is a program of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR). Operation Ancestor Search provides recreational therapy for wounded warriors and caregivers through family research. We provide genealogy resources and research training for the soldier-users and their family members or caregivers who are by their side.
