Roena had traveled by train to Ash Grove.
Letterhead on letter was McCormick Harvesting Machine Company,Chicago,
Illinois, Harry
Jones General Agent in Sedalia MO.
Trying to locate Roena
Mitchell's parents. Her mother died during
childbirth in Feb 1856. Roena was born
12 Feb 1856 in Ash Grove. Her father was Scott
Mitchell
and her mother's name not known reportedly died during/around childbirth of
Roena. Roena had an older brother Scott as well. Roena was the 2nd
wife of Elmore
Blackwell and she died 2 Mar 1927 in Shawnee OK and is
buried in the Fairview Cemetery. She was 'raised' by a George
Matthis according to a letter.

1870, as he was born in 1815 and would have been 55 by the 1870 census,
but I do not know!
Any information on any of these people or their relatives, by blood or
through marriage, would be appreciated.
