I'm looking for the marriage of Ollie Dayton Bell and Lillian White. I know their first child was born in Springfield, MO, in 1916. Both Ollie and Lillian were born in 1899 so would have been approximately 16 yrs old when their daughter Laura Bell was b. This family is later found in Kansas City, KS, on the 1920 census.

Looking for information regarding Mary Corum, dob possibly 1859 in Ash Grove, Greene Co., married to Christopher Columbus Ginn prior to 1887, mother to James Doolin Ginn, dob 22 Mar 1887 in Ash Grove, Greene Co. I have found a biography for a Reverend Carson F. Corum of the Missionary Baptist Church of Greene Co., MO., dob 23 June 1834, married to Caroline Elmore in 1855, whose second child was named Mary and was born in Greene County. I am hoping to establish that these Marys are one and the same.

David Ayers Collum, b. 1 Oct 1803 Sussex Co, NJ; died 1 Sep 1887 Springfield, Greene Co, MO. I am trying to get any info about David Collum's death. Have been unable to find a death record for him. He lived in Tama Co, IA, until some time after Aug 1882 when his wife, Elizabeth Spriggs, died there. For some reason he left IA and went to Springfield, MO, according to an entry made in a family album. If anyone has any ideas on locating David's death record, burial place, etc., it will be gratefully appre- ciated.

Looking for any information on Joseph K. Gibson b.1822 in TN, d.1899 in AR. Married Geniva Chapman b.1826 d.1900 in AR. They married 1849 in Springfield, MO. I would like to know about his parents and siblings. Geniva had an older unmarried half sister named Patsy R. or A. Smart b.1820. Both his and her parents (Benjamin Chapman and Mary/Polly Cavett Smart) were born in TN. His children were Mary, Marion Benjamin, John K., Joseph W., Nannie O., James C. All children were born in MO. Looking for Benjamin Miller, the son of my gggrandfather Tyre Landrus Miller. Benjamin was born in Illinois in 1857 and the information that I have is that he was living in Springfield, Greene County, Mo about 1940. I dont know if he died there or not. He was suppose to be living on Grant street in a house on a Corner across from a service station.

I am looking for a man buried in the potters field in Aug.1902 from Joplin,Mo. He was using the name Charles Davis when killed and buried, but it was later discovered that his true name was David Enslow. His family left him there after the discovery, and I am wondering if there was any records of his family. Where would the potters field have been?

Jim and Nora Green and their daughter Thalia lived on a farm near Ash Grove. Nora's estimated date of death was 1927. Jim's brother, John Pierce Green lived with them for a few years around 1900 or earlier. James and John's mother, Elizabeth Walker Green, Wife of William Green, both from near Knoxville may have been there also. Any information regarding this family would be appreciated.

John Jackson Russell m. Susannah Robins 1865 in Republic, Mo. They had 13 children; King David, James B., Polly Ann, John Wire, Stephen Yell, Thomas R., Lillie B., Drusilla, Susan E., Rachel E. all born in Mo.-- probably Greene County from 1867 to 1884. 3 later born in Aurora, Ark. 1886 to 1892--William Denton, Isaiah Daniel, and Joseph Columbus. Susannah Robins' mother was Anna Coots m. John Wire Robins in 1844 and then Stephen Newberry in 1852; the Newberrys lived Greene Co and had more children. Joseph Columbus was my father. Anyone else researching these families?

Henry Wines died in Springfield, MO in December 1981. I am interested in seeing an obituary of Henry to determine who his living children were at the time of his death. Henry was the son of Oscar Wines, also of Springfield (in his later years). Oscar Wines was the brother of my paternal grandfather.

Looking for information on John Andrews or Anderson who married Catherine Elliott they had at least five children my grandmother born 10/22/1892, May Anna, Lee, Guy, Bessie and Herbert Harry. Catherine Elliott's sisters lived in Springfield also they were Carrie Warden Turner, Irene "Rene" Hughey and possibly her brother also Ben Elliott later called just B. John Andrews may have gone by Anderson as it is listed in different documents the different names. He died when my grandmother was nine years old and we do not know much about his family other than his mother may have been Mollie Andrews or Anderson, her maiden name was Young. Catherine Elliotts' grandmother we think lived in Springfield at one time also her name was Margaret Warden and she married unknown Mr. Horn.

I am looking for a burial site for William Joseph McCorkle who died in the Civil War, January 9, 1863 at Springfield MO. He was b. Ray County MO @1834. He died in the Springfield General Hospital of chronic dysentery. He was a private in Company B 3rd Illinois Cavalry, enlisted in Chillicothe MO. January 13th 1862.
