Burgin Cemetery is located in Section 22 of Union Township in north-central Harrison County. From the Ridgeway exit of I-35 (exit 99 six miles north of Bethany), go west on Route A less than a mile to the "T" intersection with Highway 69. Turn right (north) and proceed less than a mile to Route Z. Turn left (west) on Route Z and go approximately three miles to where the blacktop ends, just before you get to the village of Brooklyn. At the east edge of town, turn right (north) on the gravel road (West 205th St) and follow this road just over one mile to the cemetery. It is on the right side of the road along a heavily wooded ridge.
Burgin Cemetery is a small, old family graveyard and has not been used in several years. Some of the stones are down, many are badly worn and there are indications of other unmarked burials. This survey was conducted by Phil & Kathi Stewart on April 3, 2004.
