These files (indexed above) contain information compiled from the files of O. L. Cook, J. W. Cook and Lee Ward who operated the funeral home in Chilhowee, Missouri, and two other locations owned by Lee Ward in Leeton and Urich, Missouri, between 1929 and 1991. During this time the business was known as Cook Funeral Home, Cook-Ward Funeral Home and finally Ward Funeral Home. It was sold in 1991 to E. R. "Gene" Consalus of Clinton, Missouri. Most of the records before 1970 were incomplete and consisted of only a summary of each burial. A few 1950 records are missing. The contents of this site are copyrighted and cannot be sold in any form.
