- Mrs. N. T. Nowell accompanied her daughter Mrs. Elsia Vannoster home Saturday evening.
- Mrs. Frank Straw is very ill again.
- Grandma Adkerson visited Thursday morning with Mrs. J. Brown.
- Frank French, wife and boys, of Appleton City were out auto riding in this part of the country Sunday evening.
- Elmer King visited his sister Mrs. Pearl Vannoster Sunday.
- Elbert Nowell and wife visited his parents Sunday and Monday.
- Jesse Vannoster, wife and children called on Joe Johnson and family Sunday.
- Little Ethel Rusk is on the sick list.
- Master Cecil Johnson was sick the latter part of last week.
- Little Ruth Cromer had the misfortune to step on a nail one day last week.
- The lightning killed one of Mr. Sargent's horses last week.
- Bro. Spears took dinner at Charley Short's Sunday.
- Homer Straw and wife visited Saturday and Sunday in Appleton City with the latter's sister, Mrs. French.
- Will Rusk and wife went to Deepwater Monday on business.
- Mrs. Maud (Griffith) Wood came out from Clinton Monday to see after her farm.

- Roy Houchin threshed his wheat the fourth.
- Mrs. Pearl Lauderman and Mrs. Besse Cromer and little daughter Ruth, spent Saturday morning with Elsia Vannoster.
- Mrs. Frank Straw is slowly improving.
- Will Rusk and family spent Sunday evening at Henry Kanipes.
- Walter and Belle Regland entertained a crowd of young people Sunday evening.
- Mrs. Elsia Vannoster and two children visited Mrs. Ben Cromer Monday evening.

Glendale - Montrose Recorder, Montrose MO - July 25 1913
- Wink Rusk is on the sick list.
- Nat Collins died Tuesday night and was buried at Teays Chapel Thursday evening at three o'clock. Mr. Collins will be missed so much by his children, relatives and many friends. Funeral services were preached by Rev. Wagoner.
- Joe Johnson, wife and children called on Jesse Vannoster and wife Sunday, and Sunday evening visited his sister, Bessie Cromer.
- Dr. Russell of Deepwater was called the first of the week to see little Ruth Cromer who is very sick and on his way home to see little Howard Vannoster who is also sick.
- Lou Lauderman and wife, Elbert Nowell and wife, Charley and Sana Vannoster visited Sunday evening at Jesse Vannoster.
- Mrs. Frank Straw is able to be up again from her recent illness.
- Elbert Nowell and wife visited at the Charley Hohnhost's home Saturday.
- Grandma Rusk visited Bessie Cromer and Elisa Vannoster one day recently.

- Daisy Rusk took dinner one day last week with her brother Joe Barker of Deepwater.
- Garland Graham's baby has been quite sick.
- The Texas steer that has been seen in these parts was killed Saturday by Frank Parker.
- Jesse Vannoster, wife and children called on Bob Williamson Saturday evening.
- Elbert Nowell and wife visited the latters sister Elsia Vannoster and family one day recently.
- Little Dorthia Vannoster is on the sick list this week.

- Homer Straw has his Silo almost done.
- N. T. Nowell visited last week at the home of Elsia Vannoster and Elbert Nowell.
