Clinton MO - Little Boy Dead - Mrs. Lottie Justis, who has been a resident of Clinton for the last seven or eight years, and who has been a widow two years this coming May, and the whereabouts of her husband has been unknown, whether dead or alive, was left with three small children - Daisy Fern, 5 years old, Bonnie Ilene, three and Velden D., 17 months old, has found life full of many trials, supporting her three little babies. Two months ago she found employment at Charles Doll's near Urich, Mo. Two weeks ago while there, her two smallest children, a girl and a boy, took sick. The little girl took blood poison in her leg, and baby being so sick, came to Clinton to her mother's, Mrs. G. S. Justis, and brothers, where she could have the attention of good physicians and help to care for her sick babies. The little girl's leg got well after several days of pain and illness. Baby lingered on, growing worse everyday, until his little life was taken from our home by double pneumonia. Services were held at the home by sister Lindsey and the little body was beautifully laid at rest in Englewood Monday.
