Ruth loved to travel and go to garage sales. She was a person who you could take your prayer requests to and know she would be in prayer for you. Her family and church were very important to her. Ruth was a very giving person, always thinking of others. Though her compassion was earthward, her heart and her father were heavenward. She, as Abraham of Old, looked for a city whose builder and maker was God. Her love for people was only exceeded by her love for God. She was a loving mother, perfect pastor's wife and was a constant support, strength and encouragement to her husband, even as she endured the effects of her illness. She has kept the faith and finished her course and has finally made it to her Father's House. Her faith was not in vain, she has finally been awarded the promised fulfillment of every Christian, a place of eternal peace and joy where God Himself envelops his child and wipes away every tear. We bid her farewell. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, J. D. Busse, and one sister, Betty Unger. She is survived by her husband, Roy, of the home; three sons, Roy L. Mrs. Adrian M. Wall Dead - The soul of "Aunt Can" Wall, Johnson County Pioneer whose home was north of Blairstown, entered eternity Sunday night after Mrs. Wall was ill several weeks. February 8, Mrs. Wall passed her 89th milestone, but the celebration in honor of the event was quiet for she was ill and unable to participate in any merrymaking. Matilda C. Hunt, daughter of John B. and Nancy L. Hunt, was born in Johnson County, February 8, 1846. She was fun-loving and happy, always ready to lend her assistance in any trouble and ever cheerful and contented. Until her last illness, she was active and busied her fingers with handwork - sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She was a member of the Blairstown Presbyterian church and took an active part in the church work. Her loved, ones mourn her passing, but realize that in their loss she is now happy in her reunion with her loved ones and the meeting of her Savior.
