BAILEY - SNYDER - ERHART - SELVEY - FAHNESTOCK posted 10/7/2008 Alan Widener awidener@yahoo.com I have at least 4 family names that came from the Henry County area mostly in Deepwater. They are all on my mother's side, Judith Sue BAILEY WIDENER. The names are BAILEY, SNYDER, ERHART and SELVEY. In addition to these I have found so far CAYLOR who married a BAILEY, and FAHNESTOCK, although I am not related by blood just marriage since a Lucinda (BREWSTER) SELVEY Fahnestock, who had a daughter already, Lenora Kathryn SELVEY ERHART, remarried a FAHNESTOCK and then had more children with her new husband. And I am curious if Lucinda's maiden name was BREWSTER, I have just assumed it because of the way it was written on her tombstone? Also, I am curious to where all of these families came from. I have figured out that some might be from Kentucky and others Maryland. I want to see if anyone knows further back than that.
