The Genealogy Library located in the Henry County Museum in Clinton, Missouri, is a non-profit organization totally staffed by volunteers. They have original wills that were filed in Henry County. The dates range from 1836 to 1989.

This site contains a listing of wills, the year they were entered into probate and the file number. Linked wills are online and may be accessed by clicking on the name.

To obtain a photocopy of any of the wills listed on this website, send a check or money order for $10.00 for the first will, and $5.00 for each additional will ordered at the same time to:

Probate records available from the Henry County Museum Library

This site contains a listing of probate records and the year they were entered. Some files may be 2 or 3 pages while others may contain 20 or more pages. Probate records mainly give details about disposition of the property of a deceased person and the family members involved. Some pertain to the custody of orphaned children or business asset disposition in the case of death or disolution of partnerships.
