I am looking for information on the Hickerson family of Boonesboro, Howard County, Missouri. I am looking for Stephen Hickerson, b-in Missouri; d-in Howard County, Missouri, buried in a small church cemetery in Booneboro. He was married to a S. A. ??? and they had the following children: Frank, James (Jim), Sophia, Jewell, and 3 that died in very young and in infancy.
They had a farm in Boonesboro but I can't remember exact location of it. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Jewell Hickerson md. William H. Mansell in Lafayette County, Missouri between 1923 & 1925.

Looking for info on Theodore Hyatt Todd married to Edna Teresa Hill of Fayette Mo. Her mother was a Drake related to Sir Francis Drake.... Ednas sister Pearl Drake married G W Robinson related to Kit Carson. All are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at New Franklin Mo to the best of my knowledge.

My Grandmother was Nova Temple SMITH, Born Howard County, Mo Jan 18, 1898, so I am told. She married Elton Earl BICKELL April 3, 1916 (?) in Beatrice, Nebraska. Subscequent moves brought them to Edwardsville, where she passed away Feb 15, 1971. I am told she is of Lakota Sioux heritage. I can find no history of her except I know she exsisted and I was there when she died. Most of her children are now passed, also, and I am receiving no information from any of my father's family. What I have found on my own for Howard County are census records prior to 1898. Any assistance would be greatly

My great, great grandfather was James BURTON. He is listed in a marriage index on the Internet as having married Rebecca KIRBY in Howard County, Missouri in Oct 1841. I was told by my grandmother in Missouri that James BURTON was a Baptist minister. Would appreciate any information at all that you may have on either James BURTON or Rebecca KIRBY.

I am searching for two cousins of my grandmothers. My grandmothers' family came from Howard County, Mo. The area is close to Roanoke, Armstrong and Higbee area. I am looking for Evelyn PEMBERTON CAMPBELL and Kathleen PEMBERTON. I do not know if or when Kathleen ever married. Their father was John PEMBERTON born in 1882 and he was the brother of my great-grandmother Nancy Elizabeth PEMBERTON HIGDON. Their father was William J. PEMBERTON. My grandmother was Ava Valeria HIGDON METCALF and she was born in the area I speak of.

I am trying to identify the parents of Jarvis WOODS, born April 17, 1812, in Howard County. He spent most of adult life in Grundy Co., Mo., dying there in 1882. He married Amanda DEVAUL Feb. 26, 1838, in Livingston Co., Mo. All that I know about his parents is from a history book on Grundy Co. It states that his parents were Kentuckians by birth and settled in Mo. in 1808. When Jarvis was just 7 days old, his family was driven into Cooper's Fort in Howard Co. by the Indians and remained in the fort for 4 years. When Jarvis was 17, the family moved to Keytesville, Chariton Co. That's all I have found on his parents, so would much appreciate any additional info. Thank you

I am looking for information on the LOSSON family. according to the IGI Willam Riley LOSSON was born in Howard Co. Mo Nov 4, 1860, but research in the county has brought forth no further information. It is believed that his parents were Frank L. LOSSON born in Ky and Emily CORNWALL born May 17, 1844 also in Kentucky. No one can furnish the paper trail where his birth record was found. I am searching for any connection to the ERGER/BURKS family in Saline County, I'm hoping someone in Howard county will be able to help. Particularly Frederic Fritz BERGER (believed born in Prussia), mar'd to Ella BRUMLEY, 1871( in Gasconade Co,MO), & died in 1917 & 1921. Both are Buried in Berger Cemetery, Saline Co,Mo. Have photos of gravestones. I have learned also that the name was STONEBERGER until abt. the mid-1800's when it was changed to BERGER. Any info would be most appreciated.

I am trying to locate records of OBERDAHLOFF's. My grandmother Anna Caroline OBERDAHLHOFF TRIPLETT married in Howard co. Missouri June 2, 1902. I have been told by relatives that her mother and father William Henry
OBERDAHLHOFF are burried at Glasgow cemetary, Missouri.

I'm looking for info on Phineas Clark, baptist preacher. Phineas was in Howard County according to the federal census in 1820. He started baptist churches and moved around alot. 1822 was in Clay county, Missouri, 1826 in Jefferson Co, Mo. Thanks for your time. Joy Caraway,
