W.M. ROBINSON was my great grandfather. He lived with his family (given name unknown) in Howard County near Franklin, Mo on very large acreage he homesteaded in the early 1800. According to family lore he came from back east with 350 slaves and worked the land there. His wife died and he married a very young lady who insisted that the land be deeded to her after his death. She inherited the land soon after marriage and the children were left out, including my great grandfather and his siblings. Am interested in verifying this story or receiving any available info on the family.
