Judge Owen Rawlings a prominent farmer of Howard Co. who had been a brick masen taught this trade to 2 of his slaves HARRY & BOOKER & most of the brick masonry for southern Howard as far back as 1830's is attributed to these two workers.
Among the Kingsbury slaves were: LETTIE, a crippled woman who operated the loom, SHEBA helped with the weaving, RIAL cared for farm machinery & tools, HENRY was a expert with oxen, LOUISA was 17 yrs old in 1837, ADAM.
Other slaves of Howard Co. (owners unknown) were GUINEA SAM, BILLIE BELL. HARRISON PORTER, SIMON MILLER.
