POLK COUNTY MUSEUM
The Campbell Room, located on the first floor of the Museum, contains many Campbell family heirlooms. Ezekiel Campbell was among the first settlers of Polk County and offered the name of Polk in 1835 for the county in memory of his grandfather Ezekiel Polk, who was also the grandfather of James K. Polk, President of the United States in 1844.
