Whistle Junction Virtual Museum
While we sincerely hope that you will be able to visit us in person one day, we hope that our Virtual Museum will be the next best thing. Through this portal you can gain access to all of our exhibits and collections. As you can imagine, the task of cataloging, photographing, and describing our collection is an immense one and this process will take a great deal of time. Over the next couple of years we will be continually adding new items. Until that process is complete, we hope you will come back and visit this site often.
The creation of the Society's Virtual Museum as well as the purchase of some badly needed display cases was made possible by a grant from the William Edgar Foundation. The Edgar family has had a rich tradition of community service since they first came to America in the early 1700s and to Iron County in 1866. The over 120 year practice of law in Iron County by three generations of the Edgar family came to an end in 1998 with the passing of William R. Edgar IV.
We sincerely appreciate the support of the William Edgar Foundation.
