We are always in need of volunteers
who want to help. We have many ideas for publications, but
need the people to help transcribe. Since our records are
on microfilm, volunteers MUST be able to come in to the
Jefferson County Library, Northwest Branch, or be able to
access film via interlibrary loan from your local library.

The friends of our library have
paid for a subscription to Ancestry.com. Those interested
in Jefferson County genealogy are invited to come in and
try it out! There is no charge for using the database; copies
are ten cents each if you find something you would like
to print out. You can use the database at any one of the
three branches of the Jefferson
County Library System!
